WMV9 PowerToy

A tool designed to configure advanced properties of the WMV9 encoder and decoder otherwise only accessible through registry settings.

Requirements:

WMV9 encoder v11 (wmvencod.dll) or WVC1 encoder v11 (wvc1dmoe.dll) - see Codecs section
Microsoft .NET Framework version 2.0

Windows Media Encoder Command Line Script Utility

This update to the WMCmd.vbs script originally included with Windows Media Encoder 9 Series adds support for WVC1 (WMV9 Advanced Profile) encoding, WMA10 Professional encoding, advanced WMV9 settings, AviSynth input, and better progress reporting.

Requirements:

Windows Media Encoder 9 Series or SDK
Vista users should also download and install hotfix KB929182 before using WMCmd.vbs.

Codecs

There are several ways to get the latest Windows Media Video codecs:

Windows Media Player 11 for XP - Includes the most recent build of WVC1 and WMV3 encoder and decoder DMOs.
Windows Media Format SDK 11 x86 Runtime - Just the WMFormat 11 Runtime. Same as above but without the v11 Player application.
Windows Vista - All versions of Windows Vista (except "N" European versions) include the latest WVC1 and WMV3 encoder and decoder DMOs.
